Add some party factor to your gauge cluster by flashing the check engine light (CEL) at varying speeds when one of the conditions occurs:

Your feedback knock (short term knock) parameter is active, or
-
Your engine speed is approaching a set shift point
This custom feature works surprisingly well, since the OEM cluster also plays an audible “ding” when the check engine light is triggered. It’s hard to miss knock events now!
