A more advanced feature, this Oil Pressure Safety mod requires you to add an oil pressure sensor to your engine. When properly installed by installing the sensor’s signal wire to the appropriate Delivery Mode fuse leg in the engine bay’s fuse box, this feature will actively monitor oil pressure on your VB WRX and, if pressure drops, urgently reduces available torque for your motor. This can add reliability to your engine by potentially saving your bearings from damage due to an oil starvation event.
